Meet Qiava Martinez
Sports Dream wasn't just a book Qiava Martinez wrote — it was a book she lived. Growing up, she constantly daydreamed about playing sports. From basketball to soccer, she loved it all. But she faced a challenge that too many young girls know well — people told her sports weren't for her. She was sidelined, overlooked, and underestimated.
A Football Family
Sports are in Qiava's blood. Her father, Willie Harper, played in the NFL for 13 years — 11 of them with the San Francisco 49ers. Her brother Matthew served on the coaching staff of both the Philadelphia Eagles and the San Francisco 49ers. Her youngest brother Josh was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Oakland Raiders in 2015.
Football didn't just shape her childhood — it shaped her career.

Qiava began her career in sports as an Inside Sales Ticket Representative in 2008.
